HOW TO REMAIN HUMBLE

Posted on Aug 4th, 2007 by Gien : yogic musician Gien
A friend once told me Some people think they are better than others they somehow think that their shit doesn't smell! I thought this was hilarous! ...and so true! I just took a dump myself but hey, we all do, don't we? Sometimes up to 3 times a day! If it's not the right food sometimes it's runny! I don't think I need to go into any more details! ...but who talks about shit in life? Not many We should though because that's an essential part of who we are We take in food our body extracts certain things from it and rejects the rest And if we beautify ourselves to create an appearance of beauty we can always humble ourselves be reminded of the emptiness of "beauty" by thinking of our inescapable need to shit every day! How high and mighty are we then? Let the truth set us free! BFJG

For years I've had this image of a photgraph or painting - in Norman Rockwell style… titled Life makes Clowns of us all.  Of a clown, with the full clown makeup over zealous smile, pants around ankles, sitting on a toilet.  It always makes me smile.  Perhaps sometime it'll show up in the physical world.  Your blog is pretty close though -lol.  Thanks for the word imagery!
Blessings, David

Ha ha! ;oD

I've always thought, the Source must have a great sense of humour, given the often hilarious noises we make with our arses!

No human can take them selves too seriously for long…  nature always finds a way… usually when we least expect it! ;o)

….maybe one of the fellow zaadzster artists can contribute a painting inspired by this!

Is there not a story about a Buddhist monk who reached Nirvana whilst crouched down 'fertilizing' a field with 'home-made' dung?!

Imagine him telling his enlightenment story to his friends! Bet they had a good old chuckle about that one! ;oD

OK Andy, this is unrelated and getting slightly off track but it’s a funny story!

My brother was visting China and in a lot of chinese villages there is no proper toilets. He had to go into the woods.

So as he was doing it, he started hearing this kind of grunting sound. He turned aroud and was completely shocked to see this pig eating….well….I’ll leave that up to your imagination!…Food fresh from the factory, so to speak!

It just goes to show you…one sentient beings garbage is another sentient beings food! :)
