A Fruit Analogy on Suffering and the Spread of Ignorance

This analogy was inspired by reading Abudullahs response to my writing on the abusers of the world:
Abdullah,
Your words just triggered the following analogy:
Those who suffer harshly
in turn reflect that suffering
by bringing suffering onto others
The outer turmoil and suffering
always reflect the inner turmoil and suffering
like a rotting fruit in a barrel full of good fruit
Their rot begins somewhere inside
under their own skin
but quickly
it spreads outside of them
and infects all the other fruits in the barrel
Yet within even the most rotted fruit
lay a seed of hope
that can give rise to a new awareness
of its orginal essence and purity

but see… healing and happiness spreads in exactly the same fashion, except light years faster!!
I’m counting on that!
Especially using music as a catalyst! In this world though, it doesn’t seem to take long for the bad apples to manifest and then to infect the population. They always seem to get into positions of power and then they do the real harm by takng hold of the media to control and misinform others.
We are the awareness counterinsurgency! They better watch out for hordes of stampeding yogini grandmothers with love that will transform rifles and bombs into lotus blossoms!

yes, we must change the Song the world is singing from one of war and self-destruction into one of peace and harmony. we have no choice, do we?
it’s getting ugly out there! ….C’mon grandmas of the world…stand united and rain down your ancient wisdom and loving kindness onto your naughty children….get em back in line! We need to encourage the elders to assert themselves, they are societies gold….they have made more mistakes than we have, lost more loved ones….so all this wealth of experience must not be squandered…it is distilled in the wisdom they have! It’s a pity to learn so many things and then to be relegated to something worthless by society.
When I begin touring, I want to encourage the wise elders to come and speak everywhere I go. So many people connect with this project for this reason…they just don’t see ancient wisdom and ancient love manifest very much in society anymore.
Paradigm shift time from agression to love; from ego centered to loving kindness for all but this must be accompanied by personal transformation of the same nature as well in roder for it to really work. If people transtorm their personal lives from self centered to selfless centered, then their effects in the world will follow naturally as a matter of course. If you don’t do it that way, then “selfless” behavior is just contrived and cannot sustain.
