Tashi Delek everyone!
This online community is a great support network and it's true potential for spreading genuine loving kindness was demonstrated to me by my recent acquiantance with Dr. Osman of Darfur. Click on Dr. Osman on my Friend's Links and send him your love, send him your STREAM OF LIGHT as he puts it. He's doing humanity a great service and we can do our lilttle bit by supporting this brave zaadster! We need to feed his soul with love so he can continue his mission of saving lives. He is this communities front line representative of humanity. His eyes have to witness the death and destruction, his ears the cries of anguish, shielding of from it.
I will begin by posting my correspondences with him. Please post your messages to him here too so that you can inspire other zaadsters to send their Streams of Light to Dr. Osman.
The messages will be in sequential order, oldest to newest:

Re: Hi Dr. Osman
Hello Dr. Osman
thank you for all the humanitarian work
you are doing in the world
We are all brothers and sisters
and need to learn to live in peace
The effects of ignorance
are needless suffering
My songs, inspired by my grandma
are about empowering the meek
so that we may rise up
against the oppression
of poverty, injustice and suffering
that make this world so imbalanced
We all began with loving kindness in our hearts
those who propagate suffering and harm
also began as little bablies
not unlike those that doctors deliver today
It is the disease of ignorance
which has infected them
and which must be cured
or at least, if incurable in some
at least prevented in future generations
It is a mental disease
and these songs which are comng
are to try to treat that mental disease
to remind people of their kindness
to remind them that we are all fighting for the same thing in life
simply to be happy
Please write me anytime
to explain the details of the problems you face
I can incorporate your message
into my music
not just for the rest of the world
but especially for the soldiers of the world
who are infected by the disease of aggression
It is they who we must get through to

pain is about to solidfy my soul, tear drops under bellows like pain travelling in jungles of suffer.
pain is painful when you try skipping it.
striking the root of wishes, when doing this then soul cry has to begin.

Dr Osman!
You wound my heart with your words!
and bring tears to my eyes!
My heart feels for you
and I can honor you by writing a song with even just these words!
They are so powerful and so human!
Our brothers and sisters are dying all around the world
and silence is truly our enemy!
You must continue to share our pain with us
so that we may feel it in our hearts too!
For we are all brothers and sisters
and our brothers and sisters are hearting
in a place that we didn’t even realize
because we are so busy
dancing in our clubs
eating our fine foods
riding in our fancy sports cars
having parties with all our friends
(not me but, this society I live in)
I shall keep your hope alive by writing
and you shall keep my compassion alive by writing
don’t worry
i write songs right from my heart
My grandmother loved me for so many years
she prayed for me and blessed me every day for 3 decades
she gave me tremendous spiritual energy
so that I can love my brothers and sisters like you
and help them out of their suffering
You see, those who bring the suffering and tragedy
are brothers and sisters too
and the problem is that we treat them as “the enemy”
Instead, we must treat them like brothers and sisters
who are infected with a terrible disease
which makes them lose control of their anger
and makes them execute their actions based on fear and selfishness
We must be like you, a doctor
and fight them with awareness
awareness is the medicine
which can ultimately treat the disease
My love is with you
keep alive, keep saving lives and continue sending me messages to describe your dire situation. This will give us song material to work with. Tell me of what you think is the most important way we can help. What message would you want me to send to the world and to your brothers and sisters who are committing the violence?
Thank you Dr. Osman, thank you from the deepest part of my heart. I am with you to build a better world.

My friend,
I have 3 things to mention since we last spoke.
First,
I hope you are taking your daily dosage of SOUL MEDICINE that I and others have been sending you. I’ve been telling as many people to send you MEDICINE (LOVE) as possible.
Second,
A great way to educate the world, through the zaadz community, is to post your entries about your daily life on the zaadz BLOG. I went to your page and noticed that you haven’t used it yet. It’s really easy to use. When you go to your main page, just click on the button that says BLOG and you can then click on the button that says NEW ENTRY. This will open up a new entry and it will be like keeping a journal. This way you can write all the things you bear witness to. For the very first blog entry, it would be great if you could put all the messages people have been sending you to inspire others to write. On this first entry, tell people to come and add there comments to the blog entry for this date.
Third,
Use the BLOG AS A DAILY JOURNAL
Write down your pain, your anguish, your hopes and dreams and the small moments of joy and humanity you must sometimes see as well that you experienced that day. That way, you can share with the entire community and not just me. When you educate people in this way, not only is it good SOUL MEDICINE for you, but it also let’s people know what’s really going on and this helps to dissolve the abstract and conceptual distance between Darfur and the rest of the world. You will be acting as a Journalist of the heart!
That’s it for now Dr. Osman. By the way, what is your first name?
Keep safe. Grandma’s spirit is watching over you.

Hey Gien my friend! As I mentioned, I wrote to Dr. Osman to send him a message of Hope and Love, and this is was it says…
Hey Dr. Osman,
My name is Andy, and I'm a friend of Gien's who told me about your Soul's plight.
My heart goes out to the unnecessary sorrow and suffering of people around the world, such as those of your country of Darfur, at the hands of those who are lost and do not truly understand what they do, or why.
At times, when I hear of great injustice in the world, I initially feel great anger, and wish I was Superman, or even God, so I could use my power to protect and free those who need it, and punish those who commit such wrong…
And then I remember, that this is not God's way, and such anger would not be of benefit; we cannot fight fire with fire. Those who commit such crime and injustice, are already suffering themselves, but have dealt with it in an ineffective manner. Such people have not known how to deal with their own suffering and so try to cast it off onto others; something which, ultimately, they do unintentionally, despite appearances.
God's way is Love, and God's Love is expressed in this world through us. No-one should be denied Love, for doing so would not be beneficial to them, and ultimately, would not be beneficial to the rest of the world. It was denial of Love in some way that caused these people to act in this way in the first place; this is why we must extend compassion even to those who oppress us.
Dr. Osman, you must be living through some very hard times, something which is beyond my frame of reference, and I feel so sorry that I cannot understand how you must feel more directly. Yet, although at times it may not seem so to yourself, you must have great strength, and courage, beyond anything I can comprehend; this is very humbling for me to contemplate. The work you do, flies so far beyond that which doctors of my own country are faced with.
What I do know is that everything happens for a reason, and we are where we are for a reason. At times those reasons may not be so apparent, and at times it may feel like punishment… yet it is not, I do not beleive God punishes us; it is only ourselves! You have a greatness to give to those around you, and to give to the rest of the world; Love and compassion, the greatest gift of all. The fact that you are a doctor, and so passionate about the work you do for your people in such circumstances, testifies to that!
Your pain manifests as Soulcry, but this is a necessary release, so we may grow more stronger through our deepened connection to Spirit, and to those around us, and be spurred on to continue to fight another day.
I know that it may seem easy for someone such as myself to think that we are where we are for a reason, when I live in such an apparently peaceful country, but this is something I do not take lightly. I realize that I am here to help raise the awareness and understanding of my people to the plight of others, and of their inherent connection to each other, the Earth and to Spirit - especially in times like these. This is no small task, and I know I will have great difficulty ahead of me; if only I may have even a fraction of the strength that I believe you do, I will be able to face that task with great enthusiasm. Interestingly my name, Andrew, means 'strength' or 'courage', and my family name, Sheridan, means 'to seek'; therefore my name means 'to seek strength'! I know I have a long way to go.
With this message, I send all my thoughts and Love and positive energy to you and your people, and most of all I send you hope; my hope that you will find peace very soon.
I would be honoured should you like to keep in contact with me Dr. Osman, as I'm sure that I would have a lot to learn from you, and I would like to stand in solidarity with you, as a fellow human being, a fellow Soul, occupying this Earth with you at this crucial moment in the history of Creation.
Keep Shining!
Andy :o)
The more people that are actively aware of the oppression that goes on the world, the more such oppression has to contend with. That is to say the more consciosness and compassion we raise, the less unconscious action that can be inflicted on to the other…
Ignorance will be wiped from the face of the Earth by a wave of Consciosness, Truth, Freedom, Peace, and Love! ;o)
Namaste Gen,
Love what we are doing. Thanks.
Spoke to Angie this morning and shown her Dr. Osman's plight. She has something to say and I will put it down in words later this evening if time permits.
Meanwhile, here's my humble dedication to Dr. Osman.
You Could Have Walked Away
Your heart is crying
Your spirit is diminishing
Your soul is breaking
You could have walked away
Pretend your pain wouldn't stay
Your world breaks its promises
Your world leaves you in blemishes
Your world crushes you into pieces
You could have walked away
Pretend your pain wouldn't stay
Osman, my heart is with you
Osman, my spirit is with you
Osman, my soul is with you
Osman, my world is with you
You must not walk away
Promise you will not leave your cause astray!
Wow. I am humbled by all I have read.
I send my light and my energy to you–
In India when we meet and part we often say, 'Namaste,' which means:
I honor the place in you where the entire universe resides,
I honor the place in you of love, of light, of truth, of peace.
I honor the place within you where if you are in that place in you and I am in that place in me, there is only one of us.

Dear Mr.Osman
I was told your story by Gien, and I am here to offer my unlimited compassion to you. In Darfur you experience the pinnacle of the global crisis, you are the eyes and ears for the whole of the human family, and I thank you deeply for your sacrifice.
In my life I have only been able to see the apathy that allows things like genocide to occur, and so I take on a different duty. I have discovered some things that have made my life joyful, and maybe they will help you in this time of difficulty.
In life we are unique amongst the rest of the Earthlings in that we separate ourselves, individualize ourselves, from Nature. We have words like God, like Love, like Energy that are so vague. Words that cover up the Unknown, that which cannot be seen or heard, but that which is light and sound.
I have taken after a beloved author, Robert A. Heinlein, in saying with all due sincerity “Thou art God.” I believe we live in a mythos, not a cosmos. So, knowing this, I take joy in my story. I take evermore joy out of the suffering I endure in my story, for it is in the suffering that I learn and grow the most. The goal of life is not to end all conflict, but to create new conflicts and grok old ones.
In an infinite universe, all potential paths will unfold, as they have already, forever they shall continue. If you see the universe as I do, or if you can but glimpse the world through my eyes in reading this, then rejoice! Your suffering is noble. In the “Baghavad-Gita” Krishna says “It is better to do your own duty well, than to do another man's duty poorly. Performing one's own duty brings one to the infinite spirit. Performing another man's duty is perilous.” So do your duty well, and know that the hearts of all mankind, even if they do not express all of themselves in this life, rejoice in your honor and are grateful for your sacrifice.
In unending love, honouring the unending death, may peace be with you always.
Blessings
Loh
Dear Dr. Osman
Sending to with all my heart thoughts of loving kindness, may the people of Darfur remember that they are all the same, there is no difference between us on the level of the true self. May they remember that thru hurting another they are really hurting themselves. May this suffering end, and that they stand together stronger and united.
Shanti shanti shanti shanti tousand fold.

Dearest Dr. Osman, I have just returned from Wounded Knee, in the Center of our nation where the indigenous community of Lakota people have been in a similar, only not as currently active onslaught of violence from the residents of their own homeland….
suffering is a profoundly engaging energy that is magnetic and I wish to send deep soothing into your eyes and heart….with my chants of om im reem cleem chamandaya vidyai many times I am sending this wave after wave of healing balm for your hearts soothing from this breaking.
I also need to love you so well that you remember that you are doing this for me, personally, and I will never forget this honor.
No one has forced you to witness such suffering while trying to end suffering.
no one has forced you to bear this pain open hearted…and this SACRED ACT restores even my heart, in this very moment.
I cannot on any level pretend that you are not doing the work of divine presence and even in this moment I can feel the love within your breaking heart.
i am SO DEEPLY HONORED that you have become willing to HOLD YOUR HEART OPEN WHILE BEARING THIS PROFOUND PAIN
you are my accompliss as we pray and work for the end of pain, the end of suffering for all of humanity…. I have learned through intense personal experience that pain is most real, only when we focus on it, and give more energy to this pain…
I will keep my heart connected to yours as often as i can, while chanting om im reem cleem chamandaya vidyai to help ease the sufferings of all the innocents. Keep your eyes and heart open, and please tell us when you see this begin to become your reality….
with deepest deepest, deepest appreciation for your great act of surrender and service…I can feel the spiritual gifts you are cultivating through this profound act of sacrifice…intensly forming within your being….
Om Nama Shivaya!

Hello Gien, thank you so much for spreading awareness and introducing me to Dr. Osman. It saddened me to learn that he recently compared his situation there to Hotel Rwanda. I've been hearing wonderful news about how Sudan agreed to have the UN deploy 26,000 troops to aid Darfur. Thing is….when people are dying today, they cannot wait months for this to actually come to fruition.
I sent Dr. Osman a letter today - I wanted him to know that he didn't have to respond to me unless he needed something. He is so busy lately and things are quite unsafe that I didn't want to overwhelm him. I wish him and the people of Darfur peace and safety, as we all do.
Thank you again, Gien - you're a blessing!
Jeanine
