Mohammed: Hi Gien
me: Hi! It's good to finally meet you!
Mohammed: this the first time for me to use G mail Chat
me: It took some effort though! : ) it's pretty good isn't it?
Mohammed: ya, great efforts
me: Like talking except using fingers instead of mouth
Mohammed: ya. I felt we are so close each other well fingers are talking now
me: we are a heartbeat away! My grandma too!
Mohammed: yes its
me: love is all the same throughout the world and throughout our lives....one heart
Mohammed: one good heart
me: just like Bob Marley the famous reggae singer use to say Jah, One Love!
Mohammed: jah one globe
me: So much pain in the world...people like you and I have an oppurtunity to change
consciousness and awareness it's not just darfur, as terrible as that is...but the entire way people see things now...so much hopelessness!
Mohammed: well I agree if we get over plenty of constraints yes illnes spread by air
me: So tell me Dr. Osman, what can we do to raise awareness? What would you want to tell people about what's happening there? I'm going to open a notepad and take notes as I talk to you.
Mohammed: Iwell it might take lots of time to write what I wanna it to happen
me: I'm patient, it's taken me this long to get you so I'll wait!
Mohammed: but what is going on is just crazyness of human against human
me: i agree, ignorance is a mental affliction... a disease that we must treat...just like doctors!
Mohammed: previously darfur was athought of place were tribes fight in on and of manner...those fighting used to be settled by the people on athought of tribes friendship base
me: I think like a doctor with this disease called ignorance. I want to treat the patients infected by the disease and not kill the patients.
Mohammed: No, politicts is turning of the minds of people tribes want to get over the others ,supplied by governers and politicians
me: Do you think there is any way to reach into the hearts of the warriors themselves?
Mohammed: hope is always there... no limits for hope Sent at 12:13 PM on Sunday
me: I mean, I have this idea of writing very direct songs to the mothers, the fathers, the grandfathers, the children, the friends, of all those soldiers who are doing the killing and gt their families to support peace. If you remove their incentive to fight, they will not fight. THey must be fighting because they think they are doing the right thing, is this correct? Sent at 12:14 PM on Sunday
Mohammed: my fears even if we exert alot of efforts regarding this, must of the innocent people will die across before waiting our fruits to come.
me: can you give me an idea of how many people die in your hands each day right now and how chaotic and hopeless it is? What about if we sing songs directly about the leaders in both sudanese and english
Mohammed: yes you are true but must of them are fighting because the get used to fight and kill ,it seem to be just like addiction...for exaple they can take your belonging and after that they will shoot you instead of being satisfied Sent at 12:17 PM on Sunday
me: Then we must write songs about that! Songs written in Sudanese, to appeal to the soldiers directly to reflect tothem in very sharp and clear words to appeal to their hearts...they are human beings after all. Sent at 12:18 PM on Sunday
Mohammed: well, am working in the teaching hospital some hours aday and there we recieve the severly affected childs and its not the only war wounded but also those ofv severe malnutrion and infectious diseases and what is aamzing is that they should pay to get the service because who is no no loger support freee treatment for the conflict affect... they can die because of no drughs no care,,secondly I do 3 days aweek voluntering inside camps with different INGOs and therv the death is something like drinking water 3,4 in acapm clinic it happens
me: Do you think that the family of these murdering young men have any influence on them? Do these soldiers write home or send money home to their loved ones? If so, that means the loved ones do have some influence into their hearts. If they loved ones believe in our cause from both sides of the conflict, then there is a possibility of an alternate way to reach their hearts. If the will to fight is taken away, they will not fight. The world's approach always seems to me to be treatment rather than prevention. They have assumed there is no way toreach the heart and so take the other approach. My whole approach is very different. I always have hope when it comes to human beings. The enemy can be friends if you see through the concept of what enemy is. THat's why I also want to use Gandhi to write songs about the use of nonviolence to achieve our goal Sent at 12:22 PM on Sunday
Mohammed: Gien am chatting with you from Anet Caffee and the Guywant to close so, what is your suggestion Sent at 12:23 PM on Sunday
me: I have a hard time getting to you on your phone. Network is always busy. I will try to find my skype number for you and see if we can do it that way. Do you have any other internet access? I usually work all day with the computer on because that is my work so you can just try catching me anytime you have an oppurtunity
Mohammed: I agree with this approach. lets me handle it with you and we can disscus as much as we ok this great am waiting yourv skpe adress and let see tommorow

Mohammed: its 10:20 at night herepm
me: There are many people who want to help Dr. Osman but I want to plan with you to do it properly. I think of it as swiming... If you know how to direct all that good energy, you can stay afloat but if it goes in every direction..you can end up sinking!
Mohammed: well gien , I reallyb appreciate what are you doing, brothers are always brothers
me: I want to actually use music in a different way to reach into the hearts of the aggressors and get them to REALLY reflect on what they are doing. I believe that they are human beings as well with loved ones and those loved ones can convince them to stop.
Mohammed: well, am sure thing will run in the right direction

Mohammed: well I promise to do although am trying to stretch the hours of the day to achieve ahell of dutiesI commited to
me: I want to create a movement that will forever change the way we live together..I grow weary of crisis in the world then having to mount big efforts to solve it...Preventitive medicine is better than treatment , right?
Mohammed: I would like to thank every effort you exert Gien inorder to lift up my spirit
me: Don't go beyond what you can Dr. Osman. Only do it if you have time....you need to rest as well!

No words for this…
“Oh by the way, everyone wants you to start using your blog to enter as a daily diary. Look into it OK? This will result in deeper connection with you and the ability for you to help all these poor suffering souls.”
Gien, you are doing the same. And maybe this is the way to do it?

Beautiful and Inspiring ! I love how you can reach out to the masses. One heart, One Love.
I volunteer occassionally for Habitat for Humanity here locally. I've always wanted to take it further and participate internationally, but the travel expense is quite expensive. It is phenomenal the work they do in third world countries…. Building Homes, Building Hope.
If you could support Habitat for Humanity in your corner of the world, it is an amazing cause. http://www.habitat.org/gv/
Thank you and Love to all ~
Gien, I have contacted Yoel, and Jeanine…
and am following up on our conversations…
seems we may have unification in our direction…
let us allow the flow of jopoa's love to guide, strengthen and support the quickest path to stable, joyfilled fruition, and let us petition beloved Quan Yin, to allow Jopoa to send her healing love into the hearts and fibers of every being that moves through your circle of laughing light…Thank you for being as crazy as me…
Naturalvillages is curently upgrading our website, and right now will be perfect to adjust the content according to what we develop together.
Thanks so much, for helping in Darfur, and Dr. Osman…we are all of us behind you.
Hey! After two more views, Dr. Osman will have 108 minds having just read this, and 108 hearts having sent him love!!! Cool, huh!

i can't even begin to imagine what's goin on in Darfur… the hatred, greed, and whatever else motivates them to kill each other. i pray your songs and love will reach them and help heal their afflictions! and i'm here singing backup for ya!!!

Hi All,
I lit a candle for Darfur and one for Dr Osman and his colleagues (amongst others). Please go to http://www.gratefulness.org/candles/candles.cfm?l=eng and click on “search” then type Afric into “Groups” box which will bring you to the group I have created for Africa … follow instructions from there to light a candle …
Love 'n Light
